Human history is drenched in blood. Some of our wars were flat out atrocities where each side found ways to drive us closer to the brink of existinction. Over time, the brutal nature of humanity was softened and blunted. Most justice systems of the times before the take over, suggest trial first. After seeing our session, hearing about others, being a damn pawn, and living in a dead end existence, I'd rather not take a chance.
